Well .. this Friday was my day! :O)

Heli from HeliS, a Finnish woman living in Istanbul, Turkey features every Friday one European Etsy seller in her blog Foxy thoughts, it's called "Friday is my day" where the seller/etsian documents one of her/his days with a little text what, when, where. It's absolutely fun, for readers and for the featured ones!

Granny and Roos

I feel so bad about not posting anything on my blog about my daughters birthday, on January 27 Roos became four years old. It seems difficult to celebrate, as last year our Granny past away in these very day's. During Roos's birthday we knew she was going to leave us for good and on January 29 2008 she did. Having to say goodbye to Granny and giving a last hug was extremely difficult! Not only for me but also for my mother and my big sister!

I guess I really need to write this down to really say goodbye to the grief of losing Granny and try to let go of the pain I still feel and felt these past day's, so next year we will hopefully be able to celebrate our daughters birthday properly with a large smile on my face and lots of happy memories of Granny without tears, remembering Granny as she was, always happy and smiling, looking so very content and willing to do anything for my sister and me!
Granny must know by now she will be in our hearts forever and ever and ever, since she was the sweetest Granny in the world!
After all it wouldn't surprise me, in fact I'm pretty sure since Granny was such a huge party lover, she was there with us on January 27 smiling and celebrating along with us :O)

Photo of Granny holding my Roos when she was just a few day's old, sitting together with my sister Karien an my Mother :O)
And Roos unwrapping presents!!
